Best Handling Technology’s new ergonomic handling system combines three elements: a column slewing jib with articulated arm, a mounted balancer, and task-specific end effectors.
The balancer drive sits next to the crane column, easing slewing.
Companies can flexibly adapt the system: ezzFLOW is pneumatic or electric; ezzLINKeco column slewing jib with articulated arm covers 360°—unlike many column cranes limited to 270°. The mobile floor plate under the column can be repositioned with a forklift.
Ergonomic handling: heavy loads with a light hand on the load
For sensitive goods, combine the slewing jib with electric ezzFLOWsmart. Automatic load detection uses an integrated load cell to sense weight, letting operators manoeuvre even heavy loads with minimal hand pressure. Resting a hand gently on top lowers the load; light upward pressure raises it. Many grippers are available—for example mechanical grippers for cartons, buckets, and drums, or for delicate electronics.

The pneumatic balancer variant also drives a rope hoist with the end effector below—for example moving sacks with a sack cup quickly. Proportional two-button control: press strength sets lift speed; firm press is fast, light press is slow. Works with many end effectors, e.g. a bellows gripper for drums, hoses, or other rolled heavy goods.
