ezzLIFTmasterATEX is the mobile lifting aid for explosive atmospheres—ideal for short-distance transport, dosing, weighing, and mixing.

Large, heavy containers must also be moved in explosive atmospheres (Ex zones), where strict rules exclude many lifting aids. ezzLIFTmasterATEX meets these requirements. It is battery-powered and offers the benefits of an electric lifter while satisfying the different Ex zone requirements.

Best Handling Technology recommends ezzLIFTmaster when items are lifted repeatedly over limited distances or when dosing or weighing is needed. Benefits: simple operation, safe pick-up and placement, good manoeuvrability.

ezzLIFTmasterATEX allows safe movement and handling in hazardous areas. Payload up to 300 kg; standard lift 150–1860 mm; overall height 2000 mm; four conductive castors (fixed castors optional); quick-change coupling for different or additional load receivers.

No hand-wheel or foot-pump lifting. The aid can serve as a drum lifter for emptying and transport or with roll platforms and other attachments swapped via flexible coupling.

ezzLIFTmasterATEX in use at KRAIBURG TPE

KRAIBURG TPE is a global thermoplastic elastomer manufacturer. ezzLIFTmasterATEX is used in plastics production. Before recipes go to series production, R&D tests small batches for properties and processability. Compositions are prepared batchwise in the technical centre. Fine raw materials require processing only in designated hazardous areas; substances and components are emptied into the mixer by hand. ezzLIFTmasterATEX lifts cartons and sacks up to 150 kg, drives them to the mixer, and empties them.

What was once strenuous is now easy and fast. The quick-change coupling replaces the roll platform with a drum attachment for drums up to 150 kg, or a jib arm and hook for components in the lab. Lifting uses buttons instead of foot pumps.

Dosing with the mobile lifting aid

For moving, repacking, or pouring large quantities of substances, ezzLIFTmaster is ideal. Heavy containers are often held by hand—unsafe and non-ergonomic, with drop risk.

The source container must often be held above the batch vessel for dosing. ezzLIFTmaster supports pick-up, movement, and emptying; operators drive between vessels and adjust pour height. Rotation: manual crank or electric button. Many shapes: drums, cartons, buckets, sacks, etc. Grippers clamp for safe emptying. Forward or side emptying allows precise pouring; the operator can assist with a scoop while the aid holds the container.

Weighing with the mobile lifting aid

An integrated weighing option weighs directly on the device via load cell and platform.

The display is usually on the column but can be flexibly placed—for example on a swivel arm. Up to 500 kg depending on version, without an extra step during filling and dosing.

Mixing with the mobile lifting aid

For small batches ezzLIFTmaster can run as a continuous mixer—dose and mix without changing equipment. Pick up, lift, mix, set down; positions by button, even while driving; mixing by button; special control presets pick, place, and mix parameters.
