Heuchelheim (8 February 2022) – Best Handling Technology’s lifting solution, including the ezzFAST vacuum lifter, has received the prevention award “Die Goldene Hand”, presented by Berufsgenossenschaft Handel und Warenlogistik (BGHW) for products that help prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
Together with R+M de Wit GmbH, Best Handling Technology developed a pneumatic lifting solution tailored to specific product requirements, improving workplaces and relieving staff lifting and carrying heavy loads.
The solution includes an ezzLINKrack portal crane with telescopic bridge over two work areas, with a pneumatic bellows gripper and stepless chain hoist for handling hose bundles in hose assembly. An ezzLINKeco column slewing jib with various end effectors serves goods-in, moving cartons of different sizes and metal cooling coils—quick end-effector changes on the ezzFAST vacuum lifter. End effectors were refined with the customer until ergonomics and usability requirements were met. Processes became more effective and safer. Workstations are now ergonomic, staffed by one person, without an extra forklift.
