The ezzFAST vacuum lifter from Best Handling Technology is used wherever speed matters. Goods are moved quickly, safely, and ergonomically—especially loading/unloading, transhipment, palletising, and picking. Typical packages moved in seconds include sacks, cartons, drums, buckets, crates, sheets, panels, rolls, and coils.
ezzFAST can be fitted with grippers optimised for the task. Sacks may use a large-volume cup; non-sealing fabric sacks may use a cup with additional claws. Difficult bag picks in hazardous areas suit a pneumatic Ex-rated gripper.

In this example ezzFAST handles granulate in ATEX zone 2 T3. In a chemical process, wax-like granulate must be emptied into a mixer. The workplace is explosive.
Granulate is packed in plastic bags inside carton octabins. Transport compaction makes bags hard to pull out; two staff had to hold the octabin and pull, risking torn bags.
Improvement: ezzFAST in ATEX configuration (EX II 2 G IIB T3) with pneumatic gripping tongs. Elastic bags cannot be vacuum-sealed; the tongs grip under the bag closure and pull from the octabin.
Steady increasing pull extracts the bag slowly while one person holds the octabin. The lift hose metal spiral bonds gripper and crane; the vacuum hose is conductive; an earth cable runs gripper through hoses to building steel. An antistatic ATEX-approved filter and pneumatic vacuum pump without ignition sources are used.
The lifter is on an ezzLINKeco slewing jib with conductive bronze crane wheels.
Octabins are 500 mm diameter, 860 mm high, 25 kg fill.
