Goods can be moved quickly, safely, and ergonomically. One example is a dairy where milk sugar is produced and then filled into sacks, drums, and cartons and palletised. Besides speed, hygiene requirements of food and pharma apply. Emptying bulk can create explosive dust; ezzFAST is available in ATEX versions for hazardous areas.
Many plants must weigh and combine large quantities of different bulk materials. Goods in sacks or cartons are merged and mixed. The ezzFLOW balancer suits handling and partly emptying cartons with powder. A pneumatic balancer with vacuum cups handles the cartons; operators empty them via a rotating joint with hole pattern. The open carton can be parked in any position and angled over the mixer. In the example, a portal crane covers the workspace; the crane substructure was adapted to the spatial constraints.
Dosing: containers are rotated to empty manually with a crank or electrically by button. Many grippers clamp different containers for safe holding and emptying. Cartons, drums, and buckets can be clamped and rotated. Forward or side emptying on the ezzLIFTmaster allows precise pouring. Flow depends on powdery or liquid material. With the container clamped, the operator can assist with a scoop—ergonomic support.

Weighing: an integrated scale on the lifting aid weighs directly on the device via a load cell and platform. Incoming goods can be verified, weighed, and logged with a data logger or online link. The display is usually on the column but can be flexibly placed.
Mixing: for small batches the ezzLIFTmaster can run as a continuous mixer—dose and mix without changing equipment. Positions and mixing parameters can be preset.
