Dosing, weighing, and packaging offer many applications for handling equipment. They support ergonomic work and relieve the operator. Handling devices let staff perform tasks without calling colleagues and avoid waiting for forklifts, cranes, or other transport.

Best Handling Technology recommends the mobile ezzLIFTmaster whenever items must be lifted repeatedly and moved over a limited distance to or from different locations. Benefits include simple operation, safe pick-up and placement, and excellent manoeuvrability. The lifting aid is universally usable and battery-powered. Versatile standard accessories and custom solutions make it attractive for many lift-and-move workflows. Thanks to four steerable castors, it remains easy to move even in tight spaces. The quick-change coupling allows fast switching between applications—for example from tool change to film handling.
Diverse handling tasks: a lifting aid that adapts to any environment
The lift trolley can perform many handling tasks: up/down, grip/release, pivot, tilt, free programming of different positions, and custom pick-up and manipulation functions.
Dosing
When large quantities of substances need to be moved, repacked, or poured—for example from buckets and drums into mix vessels—the ezzLIFTmaster is ideal. During transfer, heavy containers are often held by hand. That is neither ergonomic nor safe, because the container may be dropped. The source container often has to be held above the target vessel to dose different substances. Holding it is difficult and awkward. The ezzLIFTmaster lifting aid supports the operator when picking up, moving, and emptying containers. Operators can also move between vessels and adjust height while pouring. The container is rotated to empty it, manually via a crank or electrically at the push of a button. Almost any container shape can be gripped: drums, cartons, buckets, sacks, and more. A wide range of grippers allows clamping different containers so everything can be held and emptied safely. Cartons, drums, and buckets can be clamped and rotated as needed. Alternatively, containers can be held with vacuum, rotated, and emptied. Vacuum lifters are also suitable for sacks.
With the ezzLIFTmaster’s forward or side emptying function, dosing by pouring is easy and precise. Flow behaviour depends on whether the material is powdery or liquid. If the container is clamped, the operator can assist dosing with a scoop. Supporting the container this way enables ergonomic work.
Weighing
A special feature of the ezzLIFTmaster is an integrated scale. The advantage is that weighing can be done directly on the lifting aid. A load cell sits on the base frame with a weighing platform on top. Incoming goods can also be verified, weighed, and logged via the load cell with a data logger or online connection.
The display is usually on the column of the mobile lifting aid but can be placed as required—for example on a flexible arm for individual positioning. Depending on the version, the scale can weigh up to 500 kg, so mass can be determined during filling and dosing without an extra step.
Mixing

For small batches, the ezzLIFTmaster can be used as a continuous mixer. Substances can be dosed and then mixed immediately without changing equipment. A container can be picked up, lifted, mixed, and set down—for example an IBC that is docked directly to a filler after mixing. Positions are approached at the push of a button, even while driving. Mixing is also started by button. Special control allows presetting pick-up and set-down positions and mixing parameters (duration, direction reversal, etc.).
Packaging
After filling, containers still need to be moved and prepared for transport. Here too handling equipment helps—including safe handling from the filler or from the packaging machine to the pallet. Best Handling Technology recommends the ezzFAST vacuum lifter—for example picking standing sacks at the filler with vacuum, pivoting to horizontal, and laying them on the pallet. Drums and buckets are best handled from the side with vacuum or, if lids cannot be removed and filler geometry allows, from above. Cartons can also be picked from above and moved. For high pallet stacks there are long and even telescopic handles.
